If you are into storage then the article Goodbye physical Fibre Channel over at The Register is an interesting read. Especially as I got my hands on the CNA's the other day.
For example this coment on FC Fabric and the competition between Cisco and Brocade.
They are all pushing the story that Ethernet can be lossless and have predictable latency in its new Data Centre Ethernet (DCE) form, and that 10Gbit/sEthernet has plenty of speed to run the traffic from multi-core, multi-socket servers crammed with virtual machines demanding instant access to desktop boot images, database records, etc.Give it a read, there is some good stuff in there.
